Ancestor - more podcast goodness

posted in Media on September 11th, 2005

It seems that sometimes begging works. When I recently asked Scott to hire me, I was more joking than not, luckily Scott wasn’t. We teamed up and created something very interesting…

The story is called Ancestor and will be another serialized podcast novel, produced by Scott.

If you can’t wait till September 12th, go here and download the teaser - it’s worth the bandwidth.

I already got a tiny peak at the story and let me tell you this: if you thought that Earthcore set a new standard, think again - the standard just got one up. Ancestor is full of the stuff Earthcore listeners will love - violence, a great theme song, a solid story and the occasional dead body…

Earthcore - podcast goodness

posted in Media on July 26th, 2005

Just came across Scott Sigler’s Earthcore, a serialized podcast novel.
The whole thing started some time in March this year and I somehow managed to miss it, even though James actually blogged about it. As such, I missed quite a few episodes but I’m trying to catch up as fast as possible…

Scott is doing all the voices on his own - no tools, no nothing - at least, that’s what he tells us. I think he’s gifted, both with his voice talent and his writing skills. Earthcore is fun to listen to and I’ll certainly order a paperback version (actually, I’d prefer an eBook) if one ever gets published.

So if you got some time (and if you don’t - make some time!) head over to Scott’s site and find out what actually happened under the Utah mountains…

Oh and while we’re at it, Scott - hire me, I’d love to work with that innovative mind of yours.
